Are you bored of drinking green tea all the time because of its healthy benefits? For a change, I have a great tip for you. TURMERIC MILK!

Turmeric has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Many studies show that it helps to prevent cancer. It has been used for a long time in the medicine, health and wellness.

Turmeric milk is a good remedy for colds, congestion, headache, sore throats, as well as depression. It´s best to use fresh ingredients in this recipe, but if you don´t have them, dried turmeric and ginger is fine too.

Instructions:

  1. Place milk in a saucepan, add ginger and turmeric and stir well.
  2. Let it simmer, then stir and cook it for another minute. Stir it all the time. Don´t overheat the milk.
  3. Then turn the heat off, add honey, cover it and let it stand for about 10 minutes.
  4. Strain the mixture through a strainer and serve warm.

If you want to have it more spicy, add more ginger. The amount of ingredients I shared in this recipe makes it a very mild turmeric milk.
